I have a tank containing two red bellied piranhas. Would it be okay to put a tire-track eel into this tank? If not, what goes well with piranhas if they are well fed?

right now they are in a 29gal and they are 10 months old. The tire-track eel is about 2 inches long right now.

A 29 isn't large enough to house both those fish when they are grown, so you'll need bigger quarters as they age. Piranhas should also be kept in a species aquarium with good filtration.

Tire track eels need a 120g aquarium as they get to be 2 and a half feet long which is _much to large for a 29g.

Your piranha will also need a tank of 75gallons or more, and 120g would be much better.

Seeing as how your tank is dangerously overstocked right now I wouldn't recommend you get anything.

there are no good tankmates for piranha, if they are red bellies i would HIGHLY suggest getting a tank of at least 55g. and adding another piranha of similar size to ur other two. no matter how "well-fed" ur piranha are another fish that isnt a piranha will eventually be seen as a prey item.
