How big is the tank? 2. What other fish besides glowlights are in the tank? I'm sure someone will be along shortly who has some familiarity swordtail tetras. Joe Potato |

The molly is a pretty hefty fish for a tank that small, so it adds a lot to the bioload. Sorry to say, but I wouldn't add any more fish. Joe Potato |

You could pretty easily keep two types of schooling fish and the molly in there. You could use a 2.5 foot tank, but you'd really have to keep up on your water changes and tank maintenance. What other kind of fish were you thinking? The problem is, as you add more species, the size of the tank you need increases dramatically. Joe Potato |

Joe Potato Fish Addict Kind of a Big Deal Posts: 869 Votes: 309 Registered: 09-Jan-2001 | I'd say a 30 gallon should work out for that, stocked like this: 6 Glowlights 6-8 Swordtails 1 Molly 6 Panda corys. Keep up on the maintenance (the Pandas can be pretty delicate) and it should all go smoothly. Joe Potato |

Joe Potato Fish Addict Kind of a Big Deal Posts: 869 Votes: 309 Registered: 09-Jan-2001 | Absolutely. I can tell you from experience that glowlights, Pandas, and the molly are all quite peaceful. Like I said, I've never kept the Swordtail tetra, but the profile on here says that they're very peaceful as well. It sounds like a lovely tank. Joe Potato |

Joe Potato Fish Addict Kind of a Big Deal Posts: 869 Votes: 309 Registered: 09-Jan-2001 | Yeah, the profile for the Swordtail Tetra says that it likes a few plants, and I can guarantee you that the glowlights and the Pandas will be happier with them in the tank. Joe Potato |
