Ok ok. sorry for being a bit harsh im just really stressed at the mo.

I wouldnt recommend cichlids for newbies so i would stick with the community fish.

In the hospital forum you said your Columbian shark died Any way what kind of fish would you want for your community? We still need to know that.

I wouldnt add anymore fish to your 1o gallon yet untill you have moved your current fish to your new 100gallon tank.

Klaudie please listen to the other members. Like JAson said and in my previous post, you shouldnt of brought anything else to go in your tank.

You will only have more problems.....

One thing about Neons is, if your tank is large enough, the more of them the better. Firstly, they are very much schooling fishes and chances of their survival are higher in numbers.

They can be timid too, so ensure that your tank has enough cover or vegetation. As for them being "deadly", I seriously doubt that! I had a school of 50 a long time back, only to be wiped out by NTD. Sighs...they were so beautiful!

If you want a community tank with guppies and such, you have to get rid of the Columbian Shark. If you want the Columbian Shark, you have to get rid of everything else (unless they're meant to be food in the future).

Ummm Neon Tetras usually aren't like that. How bad was it? Did it do any physical damage to your fish or was it just nipping. How long have you had these neons for? They might have been setting their pecking order.
