	Tetras and Electric Yellows
raindream Fingerling Posts: 37 Kudos: 20 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-Aug-2004	I am new to keeping fish and have a 10gallon tank with 5 tetra's and 2 albino cory...I saw some beautiful fish, the guy said the name of them was Electric Yellow, he didn't know if they would be ok to put with my tetras....Do you think they would be ok together?

The Albino Corydoras need to stay in a school of 4/6 & not only 2. T/A Mega Fish Posts: 942 Kudos: 1796 Registered: 20-Feb-2004	For that tank, forget the electric yellows. As mentioned before, they are an African Cichlid. African Cichlids are territorial fish that can only go with other African Cichlids and some big catfish. Just add 2 more albino cories, then your all set.

The Tetras I have ....I think they are Buenos Aires Tetras, they are so pretty, thanks for the info on my albino cory, I will go buy 2 more today, aren't they cute, they swim around the tank alot, not like other catfish I have seen.
