I want to kind of start over with my aquarium, just keep one species of fish and I will sell the rest. Plus keep one algae eater. What I want to know was what tetra's can be kept in a 20g tank with one giant cavern and lots of plants?

In a 20g with an algae eater find one tetra you really like and go with a large school.

If you're keeping just one type of tetra, then just about any type is perfectly acceptable. (The only possible exception I can think is Cochu's Blues; they're solitary and tend to chase each other around if overcrowded, although they don't seem to actually bite.) However, Serpaes and Penguins do have a very strong tendency to nip other species of fish.

Right now I have 5 penguin tetra's and a few other types of fish and two frogs. But I want to just keep my penguin tetras and then raise some more tetra's. Atleast I think. It was just a thought, and I have 2 Clown Loaches that i might keep too 'cause I like them, and I will get one algea eater.
