They are both hardy in my experience. Silvers are bigger. But if your tank can handle only one or if you only want one then you should definintly get marbled. |

In a 6 foot long, they'll have a good "runway" for take-off, and to forestall such aerobatics, not only will a good cover be essential, but floating plants - if you can find it, Water Lettuce Pistia stratiotes is a good choice in a tank as big as yours ![]() ![]() |

When I had some before..2 years ago..I had one tiny hole next to the filter..maybe 1" x 2". One got through their once...alas I found him all dried up already behind the aquarium. |

Just an FYI. At work they seem pretty similar though. The silvers seem to adjust to commercial foods better. I'm so adjective, I verb nouns! |
