It's VERY abnormal -- I've never seen Neons or Glowlights show a trace of agression. However, I have heard that Neons will go after long flowing fins on a fish (I once heard about an unfortunate male Betta to whom a school of neons gave a "crewcut", and it's conceivable that your fish are nibbling at some patches of diseased skin on your Cories. Anyway, I'd look carefully at that possibility.

I would say that depends on how little your "little guy" actually is myself. I once added some platy fry to a tank made up of Glowlight Tetras and one male Betta. They were about 3/4 of an inch long and I thought they were fast enough to evade the Betta. Turns out, it was the Glowlights they needed to hide from, and I lost 6 of the nine fry in about 2 minutes :#(

I always had a little more respect for my Glowlights after that...

New to me too. Never heard of Glowlights attacking things before today. Time to update the database I think ...

c'mon guys, we may not think of our tetras as aggressive fish, but they are hunters and carnivores and of course they will be attracted to anything they think is a potential food source as long as it is within their instinctual boundaries - i've had plenty of different tetras take swipes at gourami pectorals, royal whiptail tails, and betta fins as they assume it's threadlike and could be a small worm...i'm pretty sure even a neon looks pretty terrifying to a brine shrimp. it's all a matter of perspective...put yourself into that scene if u were the size of a shrimp!! bloody scary!!
