hello! just wondering if anyone has any long-term experience with these fish. i have had 6 for about 4 months, and they are now about full grown.

are they a more aggressive tetra? just wondering because i've had a few fish disappear, and they look like they could pack a mean bite if they wanted to. they look like they've got an underbite like a bulldog!

I have had some for at least 4 years.

They are pretty cool fish, and (although i only have 3) they arent agressive.

They sometimes are, but i have a feeling they are breeding since 2 of them always guard the plant, and chase the other away, but this isnt constantly since the eggs probably get eaten within a few hours

How big do these guys get when full grown? Just saw some at the LFS, and they were beautiful!

i'd say 2" at the most. they're quite "tall" as well as long. they are very nice!

Thanks for the reply - they sure looked nice at the LFS. I like the higher bodied tetras, too!
