Ok I know none of you can make the choice for me, but I'd like some opinions. My 55g is currently a South American tank with:
2 angels
1 "adolfoi" cory (not a true adolfoi, and don't yell at me - I currently have 5 on order)
1 [link=farlowella vitatta]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Bottom%20Feeder%20Frenzy/53708.html?200501310126" style="COLOR: #FF82AB[/link]
7 German blue rams
6 pencilfish
8 red serpaes (i have not noticed them nipping anything at all)
8 black neons
1 clown pleco
2 otos

And I plan on adding:
6 hatchets (marble if I can get them)
AT LEAST 2 black neons
2-4 otos
eventually, 9 more corys

On to the poll: I'm starting to rethink my red serpaes. I kinda want something different. Should I go with (these are readily available) lemons, von rios, or bleeding hearts, or should I stick with the serpaes? Thoughts, experiences? Is there another species of tetras, similar sized, that you have kept that you think would fit in nicely? Have at it

why put them through stress and bring them back so they can get seperated and probably bought by someone who won't take care of them as well as you?

Keep 'em.

In a way I agree with tim but, I really love my lemons, electrics labs, what ever they are...if you want to keep the serpaes, why not add a couple of lemons alsoI don't remember the total stockage though--Heidi

While I do agree with Tim, I absolutely looooove lemon tetras! They're very beautiful (especially when you fatten them up on live foods), and have the coolest tetra personalities. If you like, I can send you some information on them.

VOTED FOR: Set up your 10 gallon and put your serpaes in there

I say fishless cycle your 10 gallon, and put your serpaes in there, because I agree with tim, however I also agree with getting lemons, since they do look good.
