How many tetras could I have in my 75g with 2 bolivian rams and a royal plec. I want as many different body shapes as I can get while still having good looking schools.

How's aboot:

12 Cardinal Tetras (slender body shape)
12 Head and Tail Light Tetras (medium body shape)
8 Bleeding Heart Tetras (deep body shape)

And if you even more variey, you could try and get your hands on some Darter Characins (extra slender body shape).

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

I want to involve diamond tetras and lemon tetras. So could I have 32 tetras. How would this sound

8 diamonds
8 lemons
8 black skirts
8 cardinal or black neon or glowlight

If you can find them (which will probably be a major logistical challenge) how about replacing the Cardinals etc., in your proposed stocking list with ...

Apareiodon pongoensis, the Pongo Pongo or Whirling Dervish Characin?

In a 75G you'd have plenty of room for them because they only reach 2 inches in length. And you'd have some of the wackiest Characins on Earth in your aquarium!

could I still add a cory school with my list. I think i'll go with cardinals or black neons. I don't like the translucence of glowlights that much.

Yeah, you could have ten or so cories. They are inoffensive and their cleaning habits are helpful, so I don't see a problem with some cories.

I think this was already mentioned to you, but the royal pleco will eventually need a bigger tank. Have you made plans for that?

I originaly got him when I thought I was going to do a SA tank in my 125g. But that plan fell through. So I don't know what I'll do. I may just trade him in to the lfs when he gets to big.

I like the diamond tetra idea better; it flows well with the natural enviornment sort of thing.
