I'm in the process of setting up my 75 gallon tank and I would really like to keep Diamond Tetras, I'm wondering what other schooling fish you guys would recommend I keep with them and for what reason? Also, would a school of 18-20 diamonds be too much? |

As for tank mates, I'd stay away from barbs as a few of them can be a bit nippy towards diamonds. I had some years ago in one of my tanks, they work well with most other tetras. If you want them to be the centerpiece of the tank look at getting a nice school of neon or cardinal tetras to go with, and a big school of your favorite cory for the bottom, or two medium schools if you have two that you like. ^_^ |
