Hey guys, I've been dealing with a white cloudy eye in the left eye of my frontosa. The white seems to be concentrated over the lens and its all inside the eye, meaning under the cornea. I went to a local fish store and they told me to try a wide spectrum anti-biotic powder which I did to no success. I'm thinking it's more parasitic than bacterial after doing some online research. What does it look like to you guys?

Do you suspect parasites in your water? Do you feed live foods?
Unless it's a newly purchased fish I wouldn't expect parasites to pop up suddenly. I think bacterial much more likely.

What are your water readings for ammonia nitrIte and nitrAte?

How long did you treat with the antibiotics? Did you do a water change before? After? Did you remove the carbon from the filter?

^_^
