ericm    Fish Addict Posts: 573 Kudos: 448 Votes: 47 Registered: 21-Aug-2004   | I recently bought 6 schwartzi cories and 2 of them died, but one kind of laid on its side before it died. Is this just stress or something else? |

I dont think its stress anymore since I just saw a cory resting on the gravel for a LONG period of time and he finally flipped over on his side and was breathing heavily and struggled to get back right side up. Is it swim bladder disease? |

If only the new cories are dying sounds like you may have just gotten a bad batch of fish. How long has the tank been set up?  |

| ericm Fish Addict Posts: 573 Kudos: 448 Votes: 47 Registered: 21-Aug-2004 | Water parameters: ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrates 70 (doing water change) temp 26C pH 7.6 Tank has been set up for 11 months. Got these fish last night and 4 died out of 6. I think it was a bad batch. Stocking in profile. |
