Yesterday when I was checking out my fish in the 29 gallon aquarium, I noticed 1 of my zebra danios hiding behind my java fern. When I took a closer look, he was missing a patch of scales from his side, and his scales were sticking out over his bloated body. I net him out and put him into the quarantine tank.
The next morning, I check on the fish, and another male zebra danio looks the same as the first one. Netted him out and into the quarantine tank. Now there are only 7 zebra danios.

They are housed with 10 rasboras hex and 6 cory cats, along with 2 otto algae eaters.
What should I do?

Water parameters are excellent. (thanks to the bio wheel)
Please Help!!!

did u actully test the water or are u just assumimg that the bio wheel is taking care of your water.i ask becasue dropsy,or pineapple,or pinecone sindrome, what eva you want to call it,can be caused by high nitrates, one of my blue acaras got this years ago,and it was from high nitrates...and 9 out of 10 cases of dropsy tend to be fatal

Call me jaded if you will, but when someone doesnt reply with the actual ph, nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia, stats I tend to get a little suspicious, its just that most people who have done the tests rather than just assume the result tend to volunteer the information freely.

Not saying its the case here, but since water quality has a bearing on possible bacterial infection, the fish's resistance to bacteria, and the general respiritory health of the fish the stats are incredibly useful to have. People have all sorts of different and erroneous information on what acceptable levels might be, and it reassures those trying to help that all possible bases have been covered.

So to help people to help you, please include the actual stats, then we can start getting into it.If you dont know them, say so!
