I've got Fin Rot going on with one of my bettas. I've tried Melafix and Jungle Fungus Tabs but neither has worked.

What else would one recommend?

Do some frequent partial water changes with the same temp water and pH as the host tank...

Fin rot on Bettas if very difficult to combat. Many times high nitrates in the water will cause the rot so it's important to test for nitrAtes, and the rest of the tests, nitrites, ammonia and pH.

Some claim Bettas should be kept in a neutral pH water, 7.0, to reduce fin damage but I have no proof that would be a factor.

I like to see, believe it or not, "Rid Ich Plus" used for fungal problems on Bettas. A half dose to start and increased, if no effect, to full dose according to directions.

They are kept in betta bowls with appropriate water changes.

Basically a couple water changes ago, I woke up 8 hours after doing the wc, and there was this raging case of fin rot on one of them. ]:|

What is it with veil tails having this problem.

There's really not a lot of water to deal with in Betta bowls...

Test your tap water for nitrates, an enemy of long flowing fins.

All possibilities have to be looked at. I gave you some suggestions. If you decide not to act on them I would predict a major loss of their fins and eventually the body of the fish will become involved.

I have a betta who's recovering from fin rot (I hope!) after 2 rounds of erythromycin and a little Melafix. It took a couple of weeks from him to get better, but he seems to be OK now (and was busy working on a bubble nest this morning). I hope your betta gets better soon!

"Spongebob" is a girl??...

That was a great approach to treat fin rot.

Tetracycline and Melafix/Bettafix combined could have been used also.

Nice work.
