Fish fungus? -getting urgent- | |
CrimsonaX Hobbyist Posts: 130 Kudos: 57 Registered: 30-May-2007 | My betta recently got a small fluffy growth on it's tail, I was wondering if Jungle Fungus cure would be good and if so, is this safe on snails? I have a few packets of the tablets, closed ones, but I don't have the box. I also have some pimafix on hand =) Any advice? EDIT: Ive decided as a precaution I should relocate either my snail or betta during treatment. However, I have a seperate bowl but in this freezing weather I can't afford to leave it on its own as it has no heating. I have other tanks but one has a rather violent eye eating betta... And the other one has the occasional snail outburst and I don't want to somehow contaminate another tank with problem snails. Should I float the bowl, its about a litre and a half, in a tank with my sick betta and be very careful medicating? The water wouldn't be filtered but I could change it often with more premedicated water. I can't think of any other way unless Jungle Fungus Clear fizz tablets are safe for snails. |
