Everything is fine, i havent changed anything, and my fish are spazzing out.

They are all pale, and swimming against the glass, ando scratching the gravel, like they have ich.

I have 2 YoYo loaches, 5 WCMM's, 2 corys, and 1 gold nugget pleco.

I did clean the filter just a few minutes before this happened...

Oh man, i dont want my fish to die, theres about $50 of fish in the tank (the gold nugget costed me $30)

What can I do?????

Do your water parameter tests...

If readings are not good start doing small water changes of 25% with matching temp and pH water and another change tomorrow early.

Get some new carbon inserts for the filter and throw away the old.

it doesnt matter anymore...

Lastnight, 2 Wite Clouds, 2 YoYo loaches, and my Gold nugget pleco passed away.

This morning, my dad found the 2 corys, and the remaining 3 White clouds dead in the tank, and took them out.

Thanks for helping me in the chat room everyone.

I seem to have "cheered" up.. i guess i would rather have my fish dead than alive and suffering.

I still dont know what im going to do about this though.

Massive deaths almost all at once is attributed to oxygen depletion or a poison/chemical that entered the water...

My regrets.

I've been informed that the tank was indeed accidentally poisoned resulting in the deaths of all fish...

The poster of this thread lost his good fish and hard-earned money to buy these tropicals.

It does no good to say I'm sorry this happened but if I were nearby I'd gladly replace the money.

Interesting that you were in the chatroom at the time that the obviously ridiculous "suggestion" was made garyroland.

From my understanding all 2 YoYo loaches, 5 WCMM's, 2 corys, and 1 gold nugget pleco were in a 20 gallon tank that was cycling @the time. I would have a strong feeling that something was going wrong long before the filter trouble ever occured.

^_^

Yes, I was in the Chat Room at that particular time...

I discarded the comment that was directed to a member as mere jest, no more, no less.

No blame has been placed on the commenter since the suggestion was an outrageously innocent statement taken seriously by another member.

Emm yes it was Gary. As a matter of fact the recipient has all but demanded that he/she be payed for the outrageously innocent statement.

I'm not trying to cause trouble. I'm only speaking the truth.

I just find it hard to believe that you experienced a mini-cycle just by adding a plec. Being that I know that you are a member of this forum and more, I find it hard to believe that you would actually go through "poisoning your tank" without consulting any of your other peeps or your parents. Didn't such a suggestion seem strange to you?
Unless you grew up in the boonies where they do not have underground plumbing ...(not that there's anything wrong with that), I would also find it hard to believe then that you would not understand the consequences of adding such an agent to your fishtank.
If the incident is indeed true then I am saddened by the care that your fish received, or lack thereof. I am also saddened by going back and reading some of your
posts/threads on this forum and in others that you have rarely taken any of the advice that anyone has given you regarding your problems and I know this did not just happen overnight. This post is by no means meant to be taken offensively but the truth is what the truth is and it is all there in black and white. I do hope you have better luck with your tanks in the future...

Mr. Gary, how kind and compassionate though your comments above "It does no good to say I'm sorry this happened but if I were nearby I'd gladly replace the money."... that was so sweet...

This hospitol thread is going pretty far off topic, especially since the fish are gone.

Sorry for any fish who die that sort of death.

OK, we all know what happenned, its a tragic mistake and I think most members here feel for your fish Vic.

But lets just stop this here hey?
because this is a bad situation which can only be made worse as information gets passed around from member to member.

Sorry for your loss Vic.
