I purchased 8 small otos the past month. But I can see only 2 now. I found 2 dead on the substrate I am wondering where are the other 4. I had never had any diseases in the 8 months I have the tank. I am wondering if this happened (popped eye) from the dead little fish I found (it took me a while)and those 4 I have not seen around (probably dead also). I am searching in the aquarium but I cannot find any other bodies. Are otos so sensitive to the introduction of a new tank. The water parameters in my tank were the same as the shops and I did a proper introduction of the fish, into my aquarium. I am not sure what caused the popped eye but for now I can only think it was the otos. My angelfish is behaving normally with strong apetite. All other fish look and behave normal. |
