I have a community tank that has 2-bamboo shrimp, 4-mollies, pilico, 3-long fins, 6-tertias(30 gall.) Tall. My question is the fish have ick on them and i was woundering if i can treat the tank with the shrimp in there?

Depends on the choice of medication, most meds use methylene blue, and at sensible doses most shrimp will survive, but if its a compound antiparasitic med that also kills crustaceans then they'll probably be killed. Which med were you going to use?

I am using Ich Attack by Novalek. See my thread the Saga Continues for more info on this stuff. It is safe for use with shrimp, I have 3 in there now and am treating the tank.

Quick cure contains malachite green and formalin, it shouldnt kill shrimp unless the doses are exceeded.

I used QuIck cure to get rid of my Ich, it took several days before all the whtie spots were gone, a nd then I continued treating for almost two more weeks to catch all the crud. I have been Ich free for nearly a month. Dont do the 25% WC every three days like it says, do smaller ones less often.

Make sure you remove the carbon from your filter media if you hav any in there. And, if you can, raise the tank temp up to 82-84. It will help the life cycle of the Ich move a little quicker and help you get rid of them more quickly, a little more....
