I have a female Bolivian ram in the tank also and the Blue ram gets after her if she gets too close, so I'm wondering if the Bolivian finally fought back. The tank is my 55g. It is moderately planted. The other fish are: 3 angels 4 yoyo loaches 1 bolivian ram 8 cories (5 sodalis, 3 trilineatus) 2 ottos 1 bristlenose 9 flame tetras 4 rummynose tetras 8 head and tailight tetras I checked my water and it is: 0 ammonia 0 nitrIte 10ppm nitrAte pH was 7 The power went off here about an hour and a half ago. It looks like it was off for about 45 mins-1 hour. All other fish look fine though. The ram is keeping to herself. She is hiding in the plants more. When I fed the fish she didn't bother to look for any food. She never really comes to the top, but will usually pick at the bottom for fallen flakes and shrimp pellets. Today she didn't have any interest. I added some Melafix to the tank. I thought moving her to a hospital tank would stress her too much and I was worried about tank parameters in a hospital tank. Is there anything else I should do? Here is a fuzzy picture: **taken with a better camera...still bad though. Will she be alright? |
