He's completely anti medication, and I agree with him on this in most cases...I don't like putting a bunch of chemicals in my tank either, but sometimes it seems neccesary. any info??

Natalie Ultimate Fish Guru Apolay Wayyioy Posts: 4499 Kudos: 3730 Votes: 348 Registered: 01-Feb-2003	I just used Maracyn-Plus on my tank to stop the spread of a bacterial infection in my tank (and it worked thankfully), and it has had no noticeable affect on my biological filtration at all. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

I have used them all numerous times... the maracyn plus on my quarantine tank all the time and it has yet to do a single thing to the biofilter. I think the lfs "expert" is either trying to sell you something else or he has maybe used it before and horribly overdosed it or something.
