But knowing how important detail is ill give you guys as much to go on as possible till i get those kits. ok the victim is a cherry barb. bought last tuesday so a little over a week ago. ive watched them pretty closely every day and night since they were bought. I didnt see anything unusual until this morning when i woke up about 6 am. so whatever it was worked pretty fast. anyways when i woke up i noticed that one of the cherrys was hanging out near the top at an angle. which wasnt normal. when i took a closer look i noticed its mouth was wide open. and stuck that way. her motuh was open all the time i was getting ready this morning and all after school till around 6 pm when it passed. the area around the mouth seemed white. not really fungus white but thats just me. it was like the color around the mouth turned white. none of the other fish are showing anything remotely similar. they all seem fine and healthy. theres not much in the aquarium in way of decorations just three DW pieces and the gravel right now. thats about it. any one have a guess as to what it is? thanks guys. The true test of character is not how much we know how to do, but how we behave when we dont know what to do. |
