I got two pink kissers 2 weeks ago. 2 day after I had them, they both had 1 spot on them that looked like ick. It went away on its own. I them treated for ich, 1 week after i had them (2-3 days after the "ich" had gone). Now that I have put the ich-X (malachite green) in for a week, one of the kissers is hiding on the bottom in a structure I have.
My water is 78 F
10 ppm Nitrate
.5 ppm Nitrite
120 ppm total hardness
180 ppm alkalinity
7.5 pH
So the water is not to bad.

I do not think that ich got to bad, so I do not think that is it.

Do kissers not do well with medications, or is he hiding for the other kisser who is being a bully, as the two have been "kissing", (fighting) a little.
The kisser also has a brown mark on his lip (from the kissing). I do not think that the jaw is broken has he had this for a week and a half and he was o.k.

Both of my kissers are sick now. They have cloudy looking eyes and and they stay on the bottom. One is almost folding his tail to his head. They are gasping for air as well.
I need help!!!!!

Spot is probably a bacterial or parasite cyst and that will probably need antibiotic treatment.

Also
.5 ppm Nitrite
thats enough to kill some fish, certainly it can damage gill lamellae, and cause fish to suffocate. Combine a nitrite level with med toxicity and thats quite sufficient to cause some major breathing issues. Id do a 40% WC asap, run some carbon in the filter, and think about purchasing a product containing furan that can be given as food.

I fear it sounds like it may be too late but fish a known to bounce back. While you are doing that wc I would be adding salt. It could work wonders.
Days 1 - 3: add I teaspoon of salt per gallon of water, every morning and every night. (2 teaspoons /gallon/day)
Days 4 - 7: Leave water alone.
Days 8 - 10: Remove half of the tank water each day and replace with unsalted, chlorine-free water at the correct temperature.

Thats not a bad idea from brengun there, sometimes salt can reduce the toxic effect of nitrite on fish a little. Might not use quite the dose hes suggesting, more like 3-4 teaspoons for the whole tank. Thats presuming of course the gouramis are in around a 20 gallon or more, which they will need, they will eventually be quite a big species, better housed in 50 gals or so.

I put in the salt and the carbon. I have been doing a 20%-50% water change daily so hopefully this my work.

Ah well, such is life sometimes. Didnt really have much time left to counter the nitrite damage by the sounds of it. Sorry for the loss. Much about fishkeeping is striking while the iron is hot, when things go to bottom and start gasping the effects of diseases and toxicity are often weeks old, its just that fish hide their symptoms rather well, leaving you little time to make corrects. Its the eternal catch 22 of fishkeeping.

My water is 78 F

.5 ppm Nitrite
120 ppm total hardness
180 ppm alkalinity
7.5 pH

Thats the live and learn bit I guess. Better luck for next time.
