i know i made another post, but that was about the rams, now, i have lost 2 corys, and the others r missing some wheres in the plants:#( i took tiny (my fave cory) from the plants, and twirrled around and around, then he died:#(:#( please help!!! i cant get the water tested because my test strips r wrong, i htink they got wet please, i need advice asap!!!:#(

Your problem is bad water quality, do a bunch of large water changes.....30-50% every 6-12 hours or even daily.

Also do a really thorough vacuum of your substrate and rinse the filter media in old tank water. Sounds like poisoning.

Also please, for future reference, don't make your post titles all in caps. It's considered shouting. Even though you may feel like shouting (sick fish) it's considered bad netiquette.

I disagree. I tend to ignore post titles all in caps for that same reason.

It sounds like you're having one of those 'bad luck chain reactions' where various things goes wrong for an extended period of time.. I had a couple of those.. It wasn't fun.

I very rarely post in hospital thread anymore, only because there is too much I don't know and don't wish to give wrong advice. So I'll avoid the med part and hit other things.

Good advice - time to get some liquid test kits. They are way cheaper then strips for 'per test' cost, and for the most part more accurate as well... I started with paper test strips, and since I went liquid, I've never looked back.

As per Tryst, you'll want to do more water changes..
With that in mind, the nitrate test kit.. GET IT !!
But, get a full test kit if you can. It will prove useful.
