It's in a 29 gallon tank with 6 other panda cories and 6 guppies. The tank has been cycled for some time now. I added the cories about week ago along with some java moss/fern and wisteria. The java moss and the java ferns are showing new growth.

This panda wasn't very active and wasn't hanging out with the rest of the school. Now, it has a white spot near its eye. What is it? Should I move it to another tank?

My guppies seems fine. The rest of the cories seems less active than they were 3 days ago during the day.

Temperature: 23 degrees Celsius
PH: 7.6
Ammonia: unknown. My test kit is broken.
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: about 10ppm for the past week with two 10% water changes.

It is possible the cory was damaged when being caught at the lfs. Take it into the lfs and see if they will replace it, and also take a sample of your water in for testing.

Cories are normally pretty hardy. Do you have good filtration and an airstone?

Sometimes, like I am battling atm, adding a number of fish at once throws out the bio balance and ammonia rises until the nitrites and nitrates can deal with it. I am doing water changes daily until the the balance rectifies itself.

Just to be on the safe side, can you get hold of some pimafix? It is a natural antibiotic which will help if the cories have any other problems.
