	Platy with a spot
bodangit Hobbyist Posts: 97 Kudos: 37 Votes: 10 Registered: 19-Jan-2006	My new Mickey Mouse Platy has a whitish-yellow spot on its tail, it looks kind of fuzzy but I can't tell. It is acting normal, eating too. Is it just a blemish or should I be worried? I can never get a decent picture so I'll try to explain it in depth if needed. ________________________________________________ I like Led Zeppelin.

Sometimes fish will change a bit in appearance as time goes by, so that's a possibility. Have you tested your water to see if anything is amiss? What are the results? And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

The spot looks kind of fuzzy, and it is more on the tail of the fish than where there would be coloration. Still, she is acting normal for a 3-day fish in my tank, and is eating and swimming fine, just a little reclusive though. I'll try a picture, don't have time right now though, gotta go to skuul. ________________________________________________ I like Led Zeppelin.
