clear poop that looks empty is called casings, and it means that your fish has an upset tummy, and is likely related to what you are feeding it. If the poo is long, white, and stringy (threadlike) it is usually a sign of an internal infection, which medicated food will help a lot. What type of fish is it? What do you feed?

my fish sometimes are like that too. i use tetramin tropical flake crisps, marineland's bioblend and bioblend spirulina and tetramin small pellets. they're okay, not diseased. the same fish for the last two years.
probably the food, i don't think this is something to worry about.

try feeding them some peas or an algae tablet and see if that helps at all. Flake and pelleted foods can sometimes cause upset tummies, as they are so processed, and you'd be surprised at just what goes into the "fish meal" they put in there To feed the peas, just boil them, let them cool, and squeeze the skins off the individual peas. Mush it between your fingers and drop it in. They'll love you for it! Make sure there is no salts or butter on the peas tho
