And i havent done a water change in about 2 weeks. Today I was watching my fish for the first time in 2 weeks (no homework ) and it looks like one of my danios has a slight problem. I noticed it when the lights went out. He has trouble swimming and his tail end is dropping down. His abdomen is very swollen and I cant really tell if his scales are sticking out but I think they may be towards the top of the fish. Now that I rmember, a few weeks ago I treated for ich and I thought I saw a shimmerish areas on this danio. So if it is dropsy what should I do? Will it infect the other fish? |

Even with "fine" water water changes should help improve tank conditions that's why we do them after all .If the stomach seems swollen I'd try peas ...daninos do love them and that should help if it's constipated at all. Reduce feedings some, and keep up with the pea.The other option once you've ruled that out is to try a very small ammount of epsom salts dissolved into water then added to the tank. I'm pretty sure it's 1 teaspoon epsom salts per 10 gallons of tank water ....tryst would know for sure .^_^[hr width='40%'] The life, the love, You die to heal.
