Possible parasite/Infection? | |
General Hague Enthusiast Posts: 182 Kudos: 81 Votes: 3 Registered: 29-Jun-2007 | I had German Blue Rams once before and I don't want my current ones to die. My current ones look healthy, eat normally, and behave normally. However I see them once in a while dive at the driftwood in the tank, and to me not 100% sure since it happens so fast but it looks like they are trying to rub their gills. I'm worried that they might be doing that because of some infection. Looking at all the other fish for both their appearance and behavior, it is all normal. I don't see any visible spots of ick on any of the fish. So I'm wondering if the German Blue Rams might have some other kind of parasite/infection. Any ideas? |

Its not long since you medicated last either is it? Might still be the odd spike happening. Flicking can be almost anthing from ich through to flukes, skin slime infections and nitrate irritation, even food particles hack fish off enough to flick sometimes. You could try posting a pic with the fish in situ, and something might present itself. Thats the trouble with blue rams. - sensitive to ... well, everything. |
