upikabu![]() Fish Addict Posts: 591 Kudos: 393 Votes: 44 Registered: 08-Jun-2005 ![]() ![]() | Hi, A few days ago another one of my cory paleatus is showing symptoms (clamped fins, lethargic, scratching against ob ![]() So, do you think it's ok to leave him in there for 3 more days until I can get a small tank? I ordered some anti-parasites (Sterazin) via internet and hopefully it will arrive this week so I can treat him. Or should I put him back in Gen.Pop. and hope for the best? What have you done in a situation where you have a sick fish but no hospital tank? Thanks. -P ![]() |

Good sign that it is eating. Fadey colur probably due to stress, is there any hiding places in the container? Just to give it some options. even a spare plant not anchored down or anything will give a bit of cover if he wants it. All the best...I know I am not much help but I didn't want your post to go unacknowledged. I am sure people a lot more knowledgeable than me will help you. (was typing and gauntlet helped out...cool) Last edited by wish-ga at 10-Aug-2005 22:38 ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |

So far I've just used the container cover to keep it dark (but not totally closed) and placed the container in a dark corner of the house. As far as setting up the quarantine tank, should I just use water from established tank, or mix that with regular tap water? Thanks again. -P ![]() |

I usually mix it 50/50 with tap water. Instant water change. ![]() |
