Temps are reduced slowly at about five degrees per day (24 hours) until the preferred temp is reached...

Let us know how the high temp treatment worked.

95 degrees! Wow how long are you supposed to sustain such a high temperature for treatment?

Until the fish are medium to well done...

The treatment lasts for a week to ten days with increased gas exchange at the surface of the tank.

Be sure there's enough surface movement without bouncing your fish around.

As the treatment progresses oxygen deficit becomes more of a reality.

Watch the other species for any indication of stress.

You may discover the fish are increasingly hungry also.

I did add an airstone with alot of surface movement, the bad part is I lost my glo-lights,they can't take the high temps.I cut back on feeding them from once daily,to every other day.I'll go back to their normal feedings.Their all acting normal, but I'll keep a close eye on them.

Smaller fish sometimes pay the price for attacking ich with the high heat treatment...

Since there are several species of ich, I suspect some may be building up a resistance to our meds.

Let's see if they can become immune to frying the buggers.

Not likely.

Lost three cardinals and two black neons,my corys and clowns seem fine although the corys seem to be breathing fast.I increased the air and did a 15% water change. My hornwort is melting and made a mess.Mybe the new water might also add some oxygen.

Did you say what size tank you have??...

If it's under a 50 gallon discontinue the high heat treatment immediately. You're losing the smaller fish to an oxygen deficit.
