As the treatment progresses oxygen deficit becomes more of a reality. Watch the other species for any indication of stress. You may discover the fish are increasingly hungry also. --garyroland. Since there are several species of ich, I suspect some may be building up a resistance to our meds. Let's see if they can become immune to frying the buggers. Not likely. --garyroland. |

If it's under a 50 gallon discontinue the high heat treatment immediately. You're losing the smaller fish to an oxygen deficit. --garyroland. |
