It is totally safe and is highly effective. I would highly recommend it. It is safe for both salt and fresh water fish, so can be a very useful tool for fighting ich. Copper can kill rapidly certain fish, such as loaches, rtbs, and cories. Never use copper on scaleless fish, you are askin for it. I wouldnt use that stuff anyway, its worthless and doesnt work imho. Kent Marine RXP is the best. Rid ICH + by Kordon is also good I have heard, however it is unavailable in Canada due to some ingredient in it being declared unsafe by the fda.
