can anyone recommend a good internal parasite med avaliable in the uk? preferably safe foe treating a tank containing botia.

We order from those nice american companies on the net who dont care where youre from

Not that I would advocate that you break the law or anything (gee the very thought!), there are fines of up to £10000 per offense if they catch you at it.

Failing that its a trip to the vet as its illegal to buy most antiparasite/antibiotic/ antiprotozoan meds over the counter in the uk.

Most of the stuff you can buy is so weak and badly formulated that basically it sucks.A bit like the dog and cat wormers you can buy in tesco.They be mostly totally ineffective. Ive not had much luck with the interpet stuff,all it did was kill my filter.

Id recommend fenbendazole for worms and metronidazole for protozoans. Ask your vet about them. You could try and see if you could order jungle parasite clear online, but not everyone will sell it to you for obvious reasons.
