Hello everyone, I am really worried about my male Venustus... the past few days he's been flashing ALOT and today I noticed he has some blood near one of his gills and his scales are going funky... As well his fin on the left side is totally clamped... I'm really not sure what this is as I've never encountered it... To be more clear, I took a short video of his current condition..

http://www.fishdude.ca/videos/venustus.wmv

Water has been steady at 78 degrees with a ph of 7.8. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, I'm really worried, but I don't want to start dumping meds in there until I can pinpoint it... if it's not too late

Ammonia = 0
Nitrites = 0

Have to pick up a new Nitrate kit... The tank is a 75 gallon, and it has been set up for approximately 3 years. Tankmates at the moment are a female Venustus, 2 Blue Dolphins, 2 large plecos and an Algae Eater.

It looks bacterial to me. I would put him in quarantine and treat with antibiotics.
