What Disease Is This!! | |
Soidfuf Hobbyist Posts: 101 Kudos: 52 Votes: 12 Registered: 25-Aug-2006 | I recently purchased 3 Giant Danios for my 30 gallon freshwater tank. One of the three died in the night after I purchased them. When I was wondering how he died I remebered seeing redish marks where the fins meet the body, but I had overlooked this and so I'm guessing these redish marks have killed 4 other fish (another giant danio and 3 neon tetras). I cant seem to find out what this disease is but I think it is a bacterial infection. If anyone knows please help! -soidfuf |

This disease primarily occurs due to poor water conditions, probably from the pet store you got them from. It is tough to treat, though Maracyn 1+2 or Triple Sulfa may work. Clean clean water is the best cure. Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |
