We've recently setup a 2ft livebearer tank however have not had much luck with fry (tank is around pH 5.2 due to a LOT of java moss in there...getting limestone to bring it back up and have removed most of the java moss) but I noticed something coming out of what was, one of the pregnant platies. Fish is now in the breeding trap to ensure that nothing picks on her. BTW the other reason we don't have much luck with the fry is it's temporary accomation for several medium sized Angels (had approx 70 and had them in a 4ft community tank but a 25cm BGK decided it would develop a taste for their eyes)  |
