garyroland   ---Prime Fish--- Posts: 7878 Kudos: 4010 Votes: 103 Registered: 31-Dec-2001 | You'll sometimes see slight discoloring to an Angel's lip, upper or lower, if they've been in a scrap with another fish or scraped against something sharp when panicked... Just keep an eye on the lip for now and make sure it does not become fuzzy or the white expand. --garyroland. |

Fish lips can and will swell from an injury. Penicillin can be dosed, 10,000 units per liter, if any further swelling is noticed or the fungus (columnaris) starts to spread.
