she has a bad bacterial infection that just showed up in the last couple of hours, i know she wont live, but she is heavlt gravid. is it possible to extract her eggs and some how preserve them, and when i get a male, furtilize them? she isnt mine, but she was a good fish, my sister cant take to to school with her. i know she will be sad to hear od her passing.

but is there anyway to preserve the eggs?

It really isn't worth the trouble, because they are probably underdeveloped and they will be damaged if you try to extract them.

In fact, it is likely that they are not eggs at all, but rahter just fluid accumulation in the fishes' body from the bacterial infection.

oh, im sure they are eggs, there are some eggs protruding from her vent, there is a little more than half an inch of her body (on her lower half) that is white, and even though she is an albino, you can surely tell, she has calmed down a bit, and is now resting under a plant

The eggs are most likely infected as well. Even if they weren't and you managed to extract them, how would you fertilize them? You can't squeeze the sperm out of a male fish. It really isn't worth it.
