i have had 2 fish die .at first i noticed they were all the time hovering at the top of the water then it was like they kind of lost their balance from there it just got worse till they died now i have another fish hovering at the top of the water can someone please tell me what is wrong.

Without water test results it's not easy...

High ammonia content will drive the fish to the top and so will a lack of dissolved oxygen in the water.

Small tanks, 10 gallons for instance, usually, but not always, suffer from ammonia buildups.

In the meantime ,while you are getting the water tests done to post here, make sure you have plenty of surface agitation or an airstone running. If you don't have an air pump, etc, you can lower the level of water in the tank a little bit, enough for your filter outflow to splash a bit.

it must be the ammonia bacause i always put air rocks in my tanks the one im having problems with has an air disk in it and the water level is below the water that is coming out of the filter.now all i have to do is find a cheap test kit.i have something to check basically everything but that thank you for the advice.
