lats female guppie, not looking well last one exploded, (new pics) | |

fishyhelper288 Fish Guru Posts: 2161 Kudos: 1951 Votes: 137 Registered: 29-Feb-2004 | well, they are getting worse, o could realy use some help, i am now using pimafix and melafix, but the scales are popping up, but the girl with it on her head, the scales apear to be falling off, and what ever kind of infection appears to be eating into her head, she is acting normal though, i havent seen the other girl this morning though, but im not worried yet, the tank is heavily planted, and it usualy looks like i onlyhave like 5 guppies, insted of 10-12. |

fishyhelper288 Fish Guru Posts: 2161 Kudos: 1951 Votes: 137 Registered: 29-Feb-2004 | well the female with the lesion on her side actualy exploded do NOT ask me how or why, but that would be how i found her shortly after death, big mess, there was no sign that another fish had been near her, i only found her, because the fish had moved away from that side of the tank, aparntly..they are scared it will happen to them...i guess sence no one can help, i better ready the toilet for a 3rd fish today, she is getting worse, i will get more pics soon. |

The scales are pineconeing ? that combined with lesions sounds to me like poor water. Any chance that the filters were off for a while in the past few weeks? I'd keep up with the water changes, go daily even and the meds. It's too bad we're not getting other posts on this *pokes FP members* ^_^ |

fishyhelper288 Fish Guru Posts: 2161 Kudos: 1951 Votes: 137 Registered: 29-Feb-2004 | i still have the one pictured, but its so hard to get a pic of her, dont know why but all that white area, there are no scales, that is all dead flesh, and its still going into her head, im going out of town today, so if there is a quich reply on what med i should get it is important! i have lost all my breeding females! (atleast i will if i loose her sence this is a new week, i will do this weeks water changes early too, hopefully it helps out a little, even if it just stops the infection, then i can have more time to try and heal the hole Last edited by fishyhelper288 at 07-Jan-2006 10:15 |
