hey i gave my motherinlaw a couple of mollies bout 6 months ago i take care of her tank went over the other day and one of the mollies has turned colors they were orange/black now one is silver is this norm or should i be alarmed

it is fairly common for mollies to Change colour as they get older. I had an all white girl who now is two years old and has developed black spots and looks dalmation.What you are describing sounds just like a normal colour change.

maybe the new environment brought it on?

that's what i was thinking, maybe 1 died, and she replaced it with that color. but i would guess like bettas, molly may change color with age.

I guess so long as the fish is swimming and eating and behaving "normally" don't worry about it!

nope she would call me to get the dead fish out she calls all the time i should have never given her the tank she great but some times
