i have 9 betta that are sick this all happened after i did a water change to the 10 and i moved them into different tanks. well one i fixed with betta max but the others i don't think will make it. could it be my bottoled water supply b/c i saw something in some of the bottles of water. the fish are getting sick with this fungus on the gills and bodies.

also u can keep females together. heck I HAVE KEPT MALES TOGETHER AND THEY DO FINE. CAN EVERY1 SEE THAT? may females can be held together but there are some that will fight and the owner has to be strong to let them fight and get order. most of the times the females don't get hurt.

Maybe it's from the battles that you let you fish have.
It's too bad for them.

umm rick is right. It probably is because u let them fight. U can expect disease with fighting. And I doubt its the bottled water supply, but u should check it for chlorine. U will want to get a fungal treatment from the lfs.

What "something" did you see in the water? Definitely get some sort of anti-fungal meds, maybe add some dechlor to the water.

They must have gotten sick REALLY fast if you don't think eight of the nine will make it. Maybe some sort of salt bath or something might help? I don't know what else to do. Maybe send a query over to the hospital forum?

first of all i said i have put to males togther with no problems. that doesn't mean i fight them. GET IT RIGHT.
second what i saw in the bottles of water was brownish and looked like brown sugar.
