ok first things, i didnt write down the readings, but i tested my water and all of the numbers for nitrites, nitrates and ammonia are at the levels they should be. testing ph tonight. but for some reason, over the last few days, i've lost 3 female bettas, 1 San Juan Cory, 1 female sword tail, and 1 female guppie. nobody has any noticable marks or anything to identify anything wrong. i'm still trying to investigate.

but on another note. saturday i noticed one of the 4 female bettas i have has what appears to be dropsy. so immediatly i moved her to her own tank and medicated her. well, luckly she has started to look a little better. i hear this ones a tough one to recover from, but shes a fighter.

yes dropsy is very hard to over come. my friend had meany fish that got dropsy and none of them survived but that dosent mean yours wont but im just saying just prepare for the worse to happen.im not an exspert and im not shure why all your fish are dieing but i think its a undetectable virese, im not shure what it is called but it happend with my bettas to . 3 of them died in less than like 3 weeks. try to use meds like melafix, pimafix or quike cure.it may help slow down the dieings and may stop it . try to syfine the tank everyday till it stops all to geather. it might help. i hope i didnt sound to rude or mean. but i hope i helped a little bit.

Monkeyboy, did you recently or a neighbor or anyone recently spray for anything, or something of the sort? There have been cases of people accidently spraying stuff like room deodorizer too close to the tank, and having problems from it...You might want to think about doing some serious water changes if you can't figure out what else is going on...say 20% today, then 5% each day following for a weak or so...it could help...best of luck figuring this one outI know it's hard to lose fishies for an unexplained reason:#( heidi

nope. nothings news been sprayed in my apartment. and when my neighbors do, i never smell anything. and after looking at my lastest fishes. i'm thinking it was something that the new swordtails i had got had, had got 3 new females, lost 1 of them, and moved the other two to another tank last night after looking at them. one has a little white patch on her tail.
