well sadly one of my gold angels passed on tonight. she/he was the smaller one of the two that i have. but anyway, the one that i still do have, which is the older one, is now swimming around the tank like he/she is lost.. he keeps swimming back and forth in the tank and sometimes he acts frantic. im watching him now and he's looking out through the glass, and i'm not sure if it's because he's lonely???? is there something i can do to maybe calm him down? or would i just need to go and get him a new pal because he's all alone now? and what else besides cichlid flakes do angels eat?

Angels live in shoals so provided your tank is big enough, get more.
Angels will eat virtually anything, including neons.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.

I don't know much of anything about angels but did a quick google search and everything I have read indicates they tend to swim in pairs so your angel is probably lonely and looking for his/her buddy so you might consider getting him/her another pal.

As for food, I read they will settle for frozen and flake foods but would rather have live food, such as fish (guppy fry), blood worms, glass worms, brine shrimp and tubifex worms. They also should occasionally be fed vegetables such as spinach, lettuce and zucchini.
