I had 5 of them.

Troy (the buck) was 1.5 foot long. He was a big white ferret and a lovely little fella. I didnt have to wear gloves with him.

I also had 4 females. Wilma, Betty, sophie and chelsea. They were all very playfull.

Mez the only advice I could give you is to make sure their enclosure is dry. Footrot can destroy a ferret.

I had three of them. Very interesting creatures & definitely hyper, when they aren't sleeping! Mine were very tame & never bit.

I also bought one for a friend of mine. The people that were selling it said they found it in their yard. Soon, the friend gave it back to me, saying it was too wild. I noticed this ferret looked different as far as coloring & features went, so I looked it up on the net. It turned out that what I had in my possession was really a young mink! I did the right thing & took it back to the area where I bought it & turned it loose by a creek. If you live in the country, beware of buying "stray" ferrets for cheap.

Have met 4. First 3 gave me ringworm and flea bites (Not.Happy.Jan) and the last one smelled like over-ripe apples.

Um, best of luck.
