most likely your geko that isn't eating probably just isn't allowed to get to the food for the other 4 gekos. my friend had this same problem with his bearded dragons. I told him to take the geko out and put him in a small tank. Drop some crickets in and watch him go. Plus it's better to feed them whilst they are in another tank as if any crickets get away and hid under wood they will knaw on your gekos toes.

I myself own 5 leopard geckos which all reside in a 50 gall reptile tank with a glass heater and a 150 watt nocturnal and daylight tight beam. No real special needs, very easy lizard to care for. Although one of my geckos doesnt like to eat to often. Been trying to figure out how to make him eat but it seems nothing is working. Hes real skinny but ive had him since november and i have no idea how long he was at petstore. If anyone can suggest something to help it would be appreciated.

I've got nocturnal heat lamps, and an old 48" aquarium bulb.

They don't NEED special lighting as they're nocturnal and don't NEED the UVA/UVB that other reptiles do, but it wouldn't hurt them to have it

Slightly off-topic,

Fallout, what kind of lighting do you use for your leopards?
Some sites say special lighting isnt necessary as they are nocturnal, but others disagree.

You could get a few house geckos or crocodile gex as well, but they won't be as handleable and as docile as a leopard

I know! Doesn't that suck? I was gona go out and buy a few house geckos, until I found out about that litttle tidbit. I mean what's the point of getting a pet that you can't pet? If I was to get another "look, don't touch" animal, I'd get more fish. ]:|

A pair? I'm definitely going to think about that in the future. That's going on my "badger mom so I can have more pets" list. Right after a 30 gallon tank, a 5 gallon brevis breeder, and an emperor scorpion

oh, but its not *really* a mammal, its just a furry critter, essentially live food if you really get right down to it i guess...

I'd love a mouse

I wouldn't keep anything larger than a rottweiler in a 10 there just isn't enough room.

Actually, i don't have any in a ten gallon, they're all in a 75 gallon i partitioned off with some old windows i had laying around that i cut to fit and some silicone. The shot of the pair is no longer a pair, my poor barnacleeze died

They do top out at around 8 inches, but you can keep a pair in a ten gallon, but more space is preferred

You could get a few house geckos or crocodile gex as well, but they won't be as handleable and as docile as a leopard, or my other favorite, the african fat tail gecko

How many leopard gekos do you have in that 10 gallon, Tim? I thought they topped 7 - 8 inches long.

NO MAMMALS

I was just wondering if anyone here has any ideas of any animals (other than fish) that can be kept in a ten gallon. I know it is going against FP but i love all animals hehe! NO MAMMALS...my dog would make an appetizer out of them!

A firebellied toad

Watch out their toxins can kill tankmates, and occasionally irritate the skin(very rare).
