Actually I think the suggestion of inviting parents to join FP is a very good one. I think sometimes parents are (rightfully) nervous about what their kids/teens are doing on the Internet all day. One of the advantages we have at FP is that we're supportive of youngsters and oldsters alike and it's a safe place for kids (and grannies) to hang out.

So Ferret & Sirbooks, why not invite your parents to join up and drop in sometimes?

And for the rest of us, let's keep in mind that anyone we meet on FP might be a parent checking whether this is an appropriate place for their kid. And let's behave in a manner that will give them confidence in us.

Hello all

I'm posting to tell everyone something...my parents believe that my like, okay...love, for FP is getting a little out of hand. They're making me prove to them that its not an addiction by keeping me off it for an entire week. Mehh...so I probably will not be around at all until next Monday. Just a warning so you guys dont think something weird happend to me...

A few closing thoughts for the week:

Babe- mom delivered a girl yesterday, I cant remember the name though. Scuba practice will be as scheduled still.
Reiko- keep up the good sims work
Dani- I'll send you some orajel hope you feel better
Jorge- no killing Dani's siblings with your sword
Billy- sorry I wont be here to play theme music for the week
Nick- Hope the cories are doing better
Sin- Dont forget to move the car
Whetu- high 5 practice will be rescheduled, easy-does-it on the Pez
Tim- dispatch well for me d00d
Nate- i'm going to have coral questions when I return
Worley- any chance I can get a thread from temp FP?
and lastly, Adam- hope the site bugs dont bother you too much

Not a problem...just hunt me down when you get back.

You'll make it, no worries. Easier than you'd think, really. And gives you more time to play with the ferrets, do extra water changes, reaquascape, create a 100-watt retrofit kit out of a toothpick and a keyboard (or watch MacGuyver, whichever), do schoolwork, etc.
