I love my little froggie....his name is Kermit. "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." |

I have 2 female pigmenteds and 2 male albinos. Shwimmy, Teek, Banjo, Lilly. They are very entertaining arent they? Mine reside in a forty gallon with a baby mississippi map turtle. |

I thought about getting him a lady friend, but I would have to find one to match his maturity & size and most sold around here are babies and tough to sex. He seems to get along okay, amazingly enough, with my dwarf gourami. They don't bother each other. Here's a pic: "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." |

It is a small group but is very active! I find that acf do alot better with multiple frogs with them (at least 2 or 3). If you do get him a freind then you would probably have to bump up to a 20 gallon as they require 10 gallons each. |

I could use that 10 as a growout tank since my fish are breeding me out of house and home. He probably would be happier with a girl....it's just a matter of finding an adult. I went to get something the other night and I heard what I thought was a cricket chirping, so I bent down to see if I could find it and shoo it out the door and it turned out that it was Kermit singing!!! I have never heard it befor, but it was a lovely sound and he looked so cute in there singing. I'll check out your ACF group!! "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." |

It strikes me that Kermit will eat anything he can cram in his fat mouth, but maybe not if he was a daddy. How does that work out? "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." |

They're illegal in a lot of places because folks release them and they become destructive to the native wildlife. "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." |

They get gobbled up after being laid so if you wwant to save any youve got to do it fast (ecspecially when youve got 4 huge ful grown frogs withe HUGE appetites!) |
