It can be a bit on the pricey side, but the selection and quality are great. It's also one of the biggest fish stores you'll find in and around the city, complete with ray, shark and koi ponds. It's my favorite LFS. If you're here, try to spend some time at the Shedd Aquarium downtown. I never get tired of going there and have gone with several FP'ers when they come into town on trips. There's a couple other smaller stores in the NW suburbs of Chicago that I could recommend, but when I'm downtown, I'm not usually looking for fish. *grins* Not so sure they'd appreciate the train ride home (because I refuse to drive downtown). ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |

I've only got one day to spend on "non business" so it'll have to be in the city, otherwise I won't get around to buying present for the kids ... |

As for LFS, go to Scott's in Westchester. They have a nice selection of salt & freshwater. I especially like the freshwater stingrays they have. They have it all. |
