I have an account with iTunes and my ID is my AOL screenname. I am going to be getting rid of AOL, and am not going to be able to use this ID anymore. I'll have to make an Apple ID. My question is am I going to lose all my music this way or is there a way iTunes can tranfer all my music files. Thanks in advance.

i would think that you should still be able to access your account, they just won't be able to email you after you cancel it. but that's just a guess, i never use the music store...

Well most of the stuff is music I have on CD's and imported to iTunes. But it's over 2500 songs and i don't want to have to do that again.

the stuff you've already put into itunes is yours. if you lose it, it will be because your hard drive died if you have an account with the itunes music store, there should be a way to change your account ID without changing anything else
